Our Process
For couples choosing our full wedding floral design service, our process is personal, creative and carefully managed from your first ideas through to the wedding day itself.
We’ll guide you through the design journey, helping you develop your ideas and creating a considered floral plan for your celebration.
Step One
Our first meeting is the beginning of the creative process. We can meet at our Mersea Island studio, via Zoom or, where appropriate, at your venue to talk about your wedding, your ideas and, importantly, how you want your wedding day to feel.
Together, we’ll explore what you’re drawn to, consider your venue and discuss how flowers can help create the atmosphere and experience you’re imagining.
If you’re working with a wedding planner, we’re very happy to collaborate with them throughout the process, ensuring your floral designs work beautifully within the wider plans for your day.
Step Two
Following our consultation, we’ll develop your floral proposal, bringing together the ideas, flower suggestions and design details we’ve discussed. Where appropriate, this may also include mood boards and sketches to help you visualise the designs.
Once you’re happy to proceed and your booking is confirmed, you’ll have access to your own private client portal, where you can view your proposal, keep track of payments and send us messages throughout your planning journey.
As your wedding plans develop, we’ll be here to answer questions and guide you through any changes along the way.
Step Three
As your wedding approaches, we'll revisit your floral plans with you, confirm the final details and make any agreed amendments.
We then take care of the flower ordering, sourcing and preparation, ensuring every element is ready for your wedding.
Step Four
On your wedding day, our team will bring your floral designs to life, carefully delivering and installing everything required for your ceremony and reception.
From personal flowers to venue designs and statement installations, every detail is considered so that the finished flowers feel completely at home within your celebration.

Step Five
Where your wedding requires it, we'll return after the celebration to carefully dismantle installations and collect our hired items, leaving you free to simply enjoy the occasion.

From careful preparation in the studio to wedding-day delivery, installation and styling, we work together to ensure every floral detail is beautifully finished and professionally managed.
Sustainability is considered throughout our work. Wherever appropriate, designs are created to be repurposed between different parts of your wedding day, helping your flowers make a greater impact while making thoughtful use of materials.
