Amega Fleur Floral Design is an award-winning luxury sustainable floral design studio based on Mersea Island, Essex, creating bespoke flowers for weddings, events, funerals, businesses and creative installations across the East of England and beyond.
Established in 2012 by Founder and Creative Director Felicity Wiggins, Amega Fleur combines formally qualified floristry expertise, artistic creativity and a professional background in business marketing and event management to deliver beautifully considered floral experiences.

Professional Expertise and Experience
Amega Fleur is led by Felicity Wiggins, who trained professionally at Writtle College and holds The City & Guilds Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry.
Her formal training provides a strong foundation in floral design principles, proportion, colour, construction and mechanics. Combined with more than 20 years of professional experience, this enables Amega Fleur to interpret a wide range of floral styles rather than work within one fixed aesthetic.
Felicity continues to develop her professional practice through specialist and advanced courses with highly trained floral designers, ensuring her creative and technical knowledge continues to evolve.
Alongside her floristry qualifications, Felicity brings a professional background in business marketing and event management. This provides a broader understanding of planning, organisation, logistics, communication and client experience, particularly valuable when working collaboratively with wedding planners, venues and other event professionals.
She has also worked freelance within other professional floristry teams on large-scale and production-based projects, gaining further experience of collaborative working and complex installations.

For us, luxury is about beautiful materials, skilled craftsmanship, thoughtful design and exceptional attention to detail. It is not simply about abundance, but creating something carefully considered for each client and occasion.
Sustainable
We believe luxury floral design and responsible working practices can exist together. We use British-grown flowers when seasonally available, work with carefully selected suppliers and prioritise reusable or lower-impact mechanics, repurposing and waste reduction wherever practical.
Creative
We are not defined by one particular floral style. Through professional knowledge, artistic interpretation and an understanding of each client's vision, we develop individual designs that reflect the people, setting and atmosphere.
Experience
Our experience combines technical expertise, creative judgement and an understanding of event planning and delivery. We aim to provide a warm, organised and highly personal service, guiding clients confidently from initial ideas through to the finished installation.
Wedding Floral Design
Amega Fleur creates bespoke wedding flowers throughout Essex, Suffolk, the East of England, London and beyond, from intimate celebrations and personal flowers to complete venue transformations and large-scale installations.
Our experience encompasses historic wedding venues, country estates, churches, outdoor ceremonies and large marquee weddings at private homes, where careful planning, installation knowledge and coordination are particularly important.
We work directly with couples and collaboratively with wedding planners, venues, stylists and other event professionals, ensuring the floral design complements the wider celebration.

2024 | Eltham Palace
A floral mannequin inspired by King Edward IV, created for Fleurs de Villes in partnership with English Heritage. The design combined historical research, floral symbolism and creative interpretation.
2025 | Claridge's and Highclere Castle
A floral interpretation of Dame Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess of Grantham, created for the launch of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale at Claridge's, London, and subsequently displayed at Highclere Castle.
2025 | Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
A Lady Mary Talbot floral mannequin created for Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey, awarded Fan Favourite. Felicity also delivered public floral demonstrations at Kew, sharing approaches to more sustainable floral design.
