Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions are applicable to the services and products provided by Amega Fleur floral design.
Weddings & Events
Booking Fee & payment
There is a £250 non-refundable booking fee to secure the date and this is deducted from the final invoice. Payment in full is required at least 30 days before the event unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is accepted by direct payment via internet banking or through the proposal system using ‘STRIPE’.
Consultations
The Initial consultation is complimentary and will be for 1 hour. Once the booking is confirmed, subsequent consultations and changes to the proposal are charged at an hourly rate of £35 per hour plus travel costs (if travel is required). This excludes small changes such as final table numbers which are confirmed approximately 8 weeks prior to the event. If a complete rewrite of the proposal is required this will be charged at a minimum of £70.00 and payment will be required in advance.
Delivery charge
Delivery charges vary according to the mileage and distance of the delivery locations from the studio of Amega Fleur floral design.
Cancellations & charges
In the event of cancellation, the Booking Fee will not be refunded. Complete cancellation of the event must be advised in writing. There will be a cancellation fee, depending on the period of notice given.

From booking until six months prior to event = loss of booking fee only.

3-6 months inclusive prior to event = 50% of balance and full booking fee.

1-3 months inclusive = 75% of balance and full booking fee.

Up to 1 month = 100% of total balance and full booking fee.
Hire Charges
Any items rented from Amega Fleur floral design, ie vases, candelabras etc, remain at all times the property of Amega Fleur floral design. Collection of these will be arranged prior to any event. Any broken, damaged or missing items are the clients responsibility. There will be a small hire fee for each item. If any of the items hired are lost or damaged, a replacement charge will be payable by the client to Amega Fleur floral design.
Security Deposit
All items hired from Amega Fleur floral design is subject to a £100 Security Deposit which will be refunded on the return of all items in the condition provided.
Late Night Collection Fee
There is a £250 late night collection fee for collecting any hire items including hanging designs, arches etc. Late night covers the period from 5pm the day of the event through to 6am the following day of the event.
Returns Policy
All items need to be returned within 2 days of your wedding date by yourself or a representative to Amega Fleur floral design, The Studio, 1 Rushmere Close, West Mersea CO5 8QQ a Due Back Date will be given to you on your Agreement please contact myself in advance to arrange a suitable time for the return of the items.
All items need to be returned undamaged and in their initial condition all items need to be returned in the boxes/packaging they were delivered to your venue in.
If the returns policy is not followed Penalty Charges will be applied and deducted from your £100 Security Deposit. Collection of the items from your venue can be arranged for an additional £35 fee plus travel costs.
The Penalty Charges are not negotiable and they will be deducted from your £100 Security Deposit
The Penalty Charges are as follows:

loss of item - replacement value of the item or complete set if part of is missing up to and including £100

un-arranged collection by Amega Fleur floral design from your venue - £45
Use of Magnets
You may be asked if you would prefer magnets instead of pins to attach corsages or buttonholes onto clothes. Please ensure that guests wearing these do not have a pacemaker fitted. A magnet may interfere with the pacemaker working properly. Amega Fleur floral design accepts no responsibility for any resulting health issue which may arise from magnets and pacemakers or ICD’s.
Liability
Amega Fleur floral design accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind to the hirer or any third party with regard to any equipment hired for use at the event. It is up to the Client to provide correct locations for deliveries. We shall not take responsibility for lateness caused by an incorrect address.In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural or other emergencies, it may be necessary to secure an alternative florist. Amega Fleur floral design will make every effort to secure a replacement florist who can supply a similar service at the same cost.
Non Guarantee
Every possible care is taken with our flowers, however once the flowers are delivered, they become the responsibility of the venue and the client. Amega Fleur floral design cannot be held responsible for what happens to the flowers and any subsequent damage that may occur after delivery.
Substitutions
In the event of supply difficulties or quality difficulties, Amega Fleur floral design reserves the right to substitute a flower or foliage for that of similar shape or colour. In the event of extreme supply difficulties we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative.
Transfers
Transfer of goods (pedestals, vases etc. supplied by us) between locations will incur a transfer fee. This will be based on the time and distance involved. The minimum fee is £35.
Exclusivity
It is understood that Amega Fleur floral design will act as the sole and exclusive floral designer for your event. By signing this proposal the client agrees that no other person, company, professional or otherwise, shall provide fresh, faux or dried floral products for the client’s event or event location without the prior written consent of Amega Fleur floral design, This does not exclude the client providing their own items to incorporate within their floral designs. This clause is to protect the image of Amega Fleur floral design from assumptions that might occur from the event’s attendees. We are always happy to discuss individual needs and requirements.
Implementation
The implementation of the contract between Amega Fleur floral design and the client is dependent upon Acts of God, and conditions out of our control. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without any prior notice to you.
Privacy Policy
You will not receive unsolicited paper or electronic mail as a result of using an electronic form unless we have explicitly requested and received your permission. Where personal data is requested through forms, such data is only used for the purpose stated on the form and will not be given or sold to any third parties. Amega Fleur floral design complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
